my daughter did the exact same thing. she transitioned to one nap a day by 12 months old and went from a two nap a day frequent night waking pattern, to a one nap a day solid night sleeper. she is now 16 months old is still sleeping well at night with one nap during the day...
my 16 month dd is finally starting to show some interest in solids, but is still about 90% breastfed. her interest is very slow and is in the form of taking a cracker, licking it, licking it and then biting it and making a face and spitting it out. she seems to take bites of things and not necessarily gag on them, but chews and spits them out because she doesn't like the taste. i've always had this vision of her just biting into things and enjoying them but that doesn't...
my dd is 16 months old and is still about 95% bf. the only food she likes is plain wcm yogurt. she eats probably 1/3-1/2 cup a day and that is it. on a good day she will try one bite of something else. she also has "radar". she puts anything and everything else in her mouth-books, toys, etc anything nonfood. she also enjoys feeding us more than anything else. her iron was tested at 12 months and at 15 months and was perfectly fine- i don't give her any supplements. she is...
i voted and emailed. how sad so many people said no.
any possibility he is working on some teeth? my daughter is like this (resisiting sleep, sleeping less etc) when she is teething miserably. she did the same thing you described last week and now she is back to sleeping well (as her molars have cut through her gums now). in my experience with my dd, she does this for a short period of time and it passes, she goes back to sleeping well and then something else comes up and we hit a rough patch. sorry i don't have any better...
i am just looking for suggetions and ideas, tia for any advice. my dd is 16 months old and is still about 98% breastfed. the only food she likes is plain whole milk yogurt anything else she tastes she literally HATES. i haven't pushed solids, i have no concerns with growth or development as she is thriving. i continuously offer her a variety of healthy foods throughout the day figuring she'll try what she tries and eats what she eats. the problem is anything and...
yes my daughter had a similar reaction. when i first tried vicks baby vapor rub my daughter broke out in a rash all over her chest where we had used it. i immediately stopped using it and now i use california baby colds and flu rub. it works well and she never has a reaction to it.
i just wanted to let you know that my daughter is 15 months and has a similar problem. she went for months with on and off vomiting. her episodes always happened 2-3 hours after eating some type of solid food and always occured after she had a full feeding of breastmilk. her doctor and i do not think it was an allergic reaction because she showed no other allergic symptoms and it always happened with different foods. we did try keeping a food journal but it just added to...
once my dd was about 3 months old i resumed my normal cardio routine of 5 days a week 60 minutes of intense cardio and lifted weights 2-3 times per week. i never noticed a problem with my milk supply and my dd never showed any sign that my mik tasted any different. i did have to eat tons though to prevent myself from losing too much weight too fast and i drank lots of extra water.
could it be related to teething or being sick? my 15 mo dd is currently doing the same thing. although she is getting over a cold and is cutting all four molars. she is a CONSTANT nurser, very similar to your ds (although she is sometimes every 45 minutes at night!). she has been eating less and less and it is really pathetic how little nutrition she gets from solids now. she too is no more than about 20-21#. i have to think it may just be a phase. maybe a more experienced...
