I took epo orally and vaginally with all births...I actually do tend to dilate and have pretty quick labors.  As for whether or not it helps, I don't know.  Though they always tell me no earlier than my 'go time' 37 weeks....
I say....GO FOR IT!  Love trying out new recipes here!  And, with a big household there's always someone to eat them up other than me.   Been up since 2:30.  The coughing is making for impossible sleep....

Travelmumma--I remember having a lot of contractions with my first and I actually was able to up the cal/mag and it seemed to help immensely.     Right now I don't feel like I have any real signs of stuff going on here....
Jakesmama--Pretty cool about the 28th....there's some weirdness around here as well, we have three December birthdays.  Leads to a few jokes when people find that out.  So, just imagine when the fifth kiddo winds up being due...
