Then get checked out ASAP. Please. If the most important thing to you is having an okay kid, just go see somebody and make sure. You don't want to kick yourself later if you don't, and wind up wondering if you should have.

I hang out with a wide variety of people. One of my friends has had one c section, one non med and one epidural. Her kids are some of the strongest attached kids ever. Three completely different births, three strong bonds, one strong family. Her first was a...

Level of difficulty in mothering doesn't mean that one mother is better than...
I can't believe somebody is insinuating -- on MDC, of all places, where we are supposed to be respectful of others' experiences and perspectives -- that my birth was any less right than hers. Or that it made me any less of a mother.
Seriously, the OP is making an extremely insulting allegation here.
I had the MDC ideal birth the first time around. A medically necessary c-section the second. The very suggestion that I couldn't mother my second child as well as the...
I think you should use some of the olive. Even with that, you're going to have pretty soft soap, I think.
NO WAY would I waste lovely shea butter on laundry soap! But you could probably find a recipe for the other ingredients. Check out thedishforum.com -- you'll need to register, but there is a ton of info there.
I totally understand the desire to be immediately rid of your debt, but it's not like declaring bankruptcy is just a do-over financially. It has a lot of other repercussions.
If you owe 15K, why don't you make a plan to pay it off over seven years? That's not that much to attack each year.

My CSA farmer sent this out the other day:

This book was awesome:
The Ultimate Math Refresher for the GRE, GMAT, and SAT
I took the GRE several (ok, many!) years after undergrad so needed to brush up on the math, too. I just used that book and took a few practice tests. I scored a 740 quantitative, which I was pretty happy with.
Mid to late 80's... so, I wore all the horrible denim and belted shaker-knit sweater glory that implies. I think there may even have been some shoulder pads when I was a freshman or sophomore.
The classic 80's looks gave way to tie dyes and hippie skirts as I became an upperclassman in high school. I ran with the freaks and geeks (think brainy stoners) and it sometimes seemed like the weirder the clothing combo, the better in our crowd.
Thank goodness nobody else thought the "hey we're all your friends and we think you're too fat" party was a good idea!
I'm appalled. Jane is a horrible person. A real friend would never come up with something so humiliating.
