I haven't been eating canned foods this whole pregnancy, except Eden brand beans which don't have BPA. I buy tuna in the pouch (which could still have BPA - but I'm hoping less than canned. For tomatoes I've just been using fresh.

Sorry, that wasn't really clear in your post. Most people...
Maybe start walking every day to build up your tolerance - and it's good for you too Wear comfortable walking shoes, it doesn't matter how they look. Also, bring a lot of water, like a large thermos or cooler full, and keep drinking all day. I assume there will be a bathroom at the park? Use the bathroom before walking to and from the park. Also, bring a folding chair. If you don't get one of the 100 seats, take your folding chair out of the trunk and set it up in the...

Another poster suggested the same thing. I haven't looked into it because I just don't know where we would store that here. We have a cat, so our big closet has a litter box in it. When we moved here, we were downsizing from a house, so we have stuff in pretty much every corner of this apartment, plus we had to rent a garage just for storage. We are both pack...
I agree with you, I would be leery of that too. I know some docs provide their patients with a list of doulas they can choose, and try to discourage them from using doulas not on the list. It seems rather controlling of them if you ask me.
Nettle tea is supposed to help (loose, 2 cups to 1 quart a day). Also, elevate your legs every day. I go for a walk and get circulation moving, then lay on my left side and elevate my legs for at least a half hour. I also elevate them at night if we watch a movie. You can also take cool baths and ice the area. They're supposed to go away after pregnancy.
I would call and check. I was told at our 12 week that drinking a ton of water was irrelevant at that stage. In fact, the ultrasound tech had me empty by bladder during the scan in the hopes the baby would turn for a better view.

I wouldn't think of Liam as a "strong, classic name". It's kind of soft sounding and trendy, and doesn't seem to match the name Jack. I do like it though, and it doesn't have to match Jack, just sayin'. I think Oakley is okay, but is there a nickname you would use, because the "e" sound might seem a little childish for a bigger boy or man. Charley/Charles seems to match Jack better, too bad that is off limits.
