Holy moly, there are some gorgeous partners here. I don't know how to use the photo sites so I can't post anything, unfortunately!
Thanks so much for the replies. This gives me a lot of good info, thanks again.
bumping just in case...
Hi all, I did a search and couldn't find anything on this. I hope I'm not the only one with this problem... sigh. I am now 39. I have always had thick, fine, shiny straight hair. A few months after I had my youngest (she was born in September '05) I started losing my hair. Big, big handfuls every time I took a shower. It was alarming. This had not happened at all with my previous 2 pregnancies. I saw my doctor, who is younger than I am and not very experienced, and she...
There is a learning curve with the sprayer. I use the flushable liners, but they don't always contain everything, and that's when I use the sprayer. The key is to point it DOWN and I also put newspaper on the floor around the toilet just in case of overspray. As for the expense of the liners- the ones that are just peed in can be washed with the diaper and reused a couplefew times. Don't put them in the dryer though- they hang dry in a very short time. One thing I...
I've thought about this a lot. I like having a variety, so in your situation I would get: 12 KL 0s or Sandy's XS fitteds 12 Mother-ease OS fitteds with snap-in liners 12 infant PFs from GMD 12 flats 6 small FBs (which I expect would not fit the baby right away; if you like the idea of one-size pockets you could go with bumGenius or something similar, but I am a FB fan) 2 small AIOs (Mother-ease, Swaddlebees, or one of each, for outings only) Accessories: 2-3 Snappis,...
I got the one by Playmobil. Found it on eBay. It's very cute and, I think, nicer than the Little People one. If you don't want plastic, this place has a beautiful selection: http://www.shakerworkshops.com/catal...se/nativities/
I have 3 girls and they all drink mostly water and milk, very little juice. With my 26-mo, I offer juice in the morning. I dilute it, half OJ with calcium, half water, and she never drinks much at one sitting. At most half of a small sippy cup full. I do it because I heard the OJ helps the calcium absorb and I figure it's more nutritious than plain apple juice or whatever. The rest of the day, I offer water, and with her evening meal she has organic whole (dairy) milk. ...
and please say something good about the Kissaluvs, they're sooo darned affordable compared to other things!! Something good about the Kissaluvs. I loved the KL0s for my newborn. They fit perfectly and were fabulous at containing bf poo. And IME, right around the time they start to outpee them, they will outgrow them anyway! Plus, great resale. I'm sure you'll be happy with them. Just be sure the covers you get fit over them- I found Imse Vimse Bumpy newborn size wraps...
Hi Juliacat, Our babies are almost exactly the same age and size. (Tessa is 26 months and 26 lbs.) I know you have been thinking about the GMDs a lot and I say, just bite the bullet and get them (the brown edge). They're my most-used PFs by far and I do wish I had been able to get them earlier in my diapering career. I think you will find toddler PFs way too big still, except maybe for night. The brown-edge GMDs definitely fit better than other premium pfs (I don't have...
