Subbing for 2012! I'm early enough on this this year that I should be able to do some purging/clearing/decluttering before it's time.
I was happy to see a rather balanced article on unschooling in today's paper:   http://www.ottawacitizen.com/story_print.html?id=4876896&sponsor=
We love this recipe later in the summer when the tomatoes are plentiful. It's basically roasted tomatoes and onions on good bread with white beans.   http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/09/roasted-tomatoes-and-cipollini/
There are soy free recipes. I think several recipes may call for soy milk but you can sub your non-dairy milk of choice.   From that cookbook we regularly make the Nacho Cheese Sauce and the Lemon Teasecake is really really good.
Judy's Organic Herbs near Ottawa may be what you're looking for. I haven't ordered from there so no first hand experience.   http://www.earthmedicine.ca/
Last night was Quinoa Chili. We make it with red quinoa, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, onion and garlic, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, s&p, 1-2 tbsp of nooch and occasionally 1 tbsp cocoa powder. Garnish with fresh cilantro and eat with unsalted tortilla chips.   I was craving pita chips and hummus so I made both after dinner yesterday, to be eaten today.    It finally looks like spring here! The snow is almost all gone!
We buy a case of tofu each month and put the whole thing in the freezer as is. It's the kind in plastic wrap, not in a tub. I imagine if in a tup, you'd want to drain it first.   I've yet to find a use where fresh would be better than frozen/thawed.
Two resources I like are Becoming Vegan: The Complete Guide to Adopting A Healthy Plant-Based Diet and Raising Vegetarian Children: A Guide to Good Health and Family Harmony. I loooove Crazy Sexy Diet and the book that made us switch from omni to vegan (overnight almost a year ago) was The China Study.   You will find that your taste will change. Some stuff I tried pretty early on I didn't like and 4 months later I thought it was the best thing ever.   We don't...
In which bagua does a new house go? I want to put a picture of it somewhere.   I couldn't sleep last night and finally felt inspired. I think I need to do an electronic map this year. How unexpected!
I seem to have a hard time moving in on this.   I still love last year's map and there is only two corners I would redo, the other 7 still speak to me. Any insight?   Would putting last year's map away help? It's hanging where I see it everyday.
