O.K. so I read the whole thread last night, and I still have a few questions.
Do you have to use organic sugar? It seems like that would become quite expensive. If I were consuming the sugar I would want organic but the scoby is the one consuming it,right? Is the resulting kombucha less healthy if non-organic sugar is used? I reserve the expensive sugar for spaecial occasions, if organic sugar has to be used it would be out of my price range.
