I had my first Follistim shot tonight. It SO didn't hurt!! I mean, I certainly acted like it was going to hurt, and I made DH do it, but I barely felt a thing. This is awesome, because I have to do this like 15 more times. :
Well - I did my first shot tonight. I made DH do it, because I kept staring at the needle and I just couldn't make myself do it. After 20 minutes of wussy "I can't do it" type stuff, and DH and I handing the needle back and forth, I finally laid on the floor, so I couldn't flinch away, and DH did it, and it TOTALLY DIDN"T HURT!! :
Well I'm on CD2 today, so it looks like tomorrow is my first u/s and bloodwork. One more question though, on Clomid my periods are horrific, wicked cramps, heavy bleeding, its just awful. (A normal non-clomid period for me is light and easy with just a mild backache) What can I expect with a Follistim period? (I know I should think positive, but with todays cramping, it's on my mind
I'll add another vote for wood countertops. We did ours this past summer and we did solid oak from Ikea, and it looks GORGEOUS! I got some Daddy Vans all natural oil for protection from water, and so far they are holding up beautifully.
So, for the first time in 3 years, AF is here and I am THRILLLED!!!
I have my Follistim all ready, and tomorrow morning I have to call the RE's office and report CD1. I have a very good feeling about this cycle, and I just know this is it for us. WIsh me luck!!

It still feels a bit unreal. My husband is being cautious and didn't even want me to post the...
Hi - many of us have had this procedure done, and posted about it under "fertility" Searching for HSG should bring up several thread.
Mine wasn't painful at all, just uncomfortable. Nothing really worse than a regular pelvic exam.
