My little man is a puke monster and is gassy to boot. No reflux (ie, he's gaining and happy) but I'm starting to eliminate dairy today for a two week trial to see if it helps.
Are you actually feeling them come in, or just going on symptoms? My older one had what I would SWEAR were teething symptoms--fussy, chewing hands, drooling like a maniac, apparently tender gums--at 2 1/2 months and it continued off and on until he got his first tooth--at 7 months. I do know of kiddos who start teething early, but I also know a lot of folks whose kiddos have the symptoms but don't pop any teeth for months. Hang in there!
Just to clarify, this is my first pregnancy and delivery--we have an older son whom we adopted when he was a few days old. At 41 wks 4 days pregnant, we were starting to wonder if I was going to risk out of the birth center, which only does births up to 42 weeks. We’d spent a couple weeks trying various non-chemical induction techniques, but nothing had kicked in. I had an appointment Monday morning where they said I was 2 cm dilated (I’d been there for a couple...

After taking his sweet time cooking (41wks 5 days) Oscar Henry was born at 12:23am after a very fast, intense 4hour active labor. My growth check ultrasound 12 days ago estimated he was 8lb13oz. Oscar Henry 7lb 9oz 19.5 inches long, 14.5 inch head.
41 + 4 here. Going in to see the midwives today and they're going to try a foley induction. Depending on how I feel, I may or may not go get an acupuncture session while the foley is in.
41+2 here today, with another 5 days before I risk out. I had a membrane sweep on Friday and an acupuncture session. A little spotting and mucous and cramping, but mostly from the membrane sweep I think. I walked 3 miles this morning, then followed with a chiro visit. That seems to be the magic combo that lets me actually WALK after walking. If I just walk, my pubic bone hurts so badly for days that I can't go again. We've tried most everything at this point--...
It's basically just a quick ultrasound to give an idea of babe's general status. I've had several because they thought baby was growth restricted--I forget all of the things they look for, but it's stuff like amniotic fluid levels, baby's body movements or "tone" (ie, limbs flexing/extending or flacid,) breathing movements (ie, practice breathing.) It was a really quick US for us and I believe VERY standard practice after 41 weeks.
Congratulations!
Congratulations! I'm glad you were able to avoid the second hospital transfer. Happy Birthday little one!
