Yep it really does work. We are using it without the feet (DD is too long for the foot pouch) and she really likes it, and its helping her to get to sleep much better.

ditto on the papasan swing - its cradle like and nice for napping. we got it for free from a neighbor whose kid outgrew it, and my dd loves it....i would ask around to see if anyone you know has a swing you can borrow before you invest...

I dont think you need to schedule a baby really, but i understand wanting to have some routines or nap times that you can count on...problem with this age i that just when you think you've got it, they will change. So what I might do...

If you plan to vaccinate -- either fully or selectively, then what rationale do you have for waiting and not giving the vaxes on time, or according to the "physician's" Schedule? Not really looking for a debate on what vaxes...
