Mothering is absolutely my full time career now. Its also my full time job.(no fulltime is 9-5, i work 24/7) Its also a relationship with three people. It consumes my whole body  and soul and mind, and i choose it that...

I dont see a problem particularly with Sustainer's debating style. I do see a tendency in other posts to mock/pick a fight, and agree with Pek64 there. Thats how i am viewing this conversation. Just another view.

Essentialism is defining an object by its supposed 'essence' (in the sense defined by Plato), For eg, one could say that  the essence of woman is that she has breasts and lactates.   An authentic woman, is one who has breasts...

I found that products not on the wic list, were not necessarily more expensive. ie. it didnt seem like cost was a factor.

Thanks for replies so far. Some vaccines ( im not sure which) dont seem worth it if after the first year, since that is when the baby is most at risk. I am planning  to travel in the future, but probably not for at least 5...
