Yes, it's juice, and yes, her hair is now black.
Yeah, I don't get the constant "disposable diaper but no pants in public while my mom is wearing a dress and heels" look, either.
I am not one who likes garter stitch, either, but with all the different colors, it keeps things interesting.
My #1 reason for not giving the DTaP: it is the vax associated with the most serious reactions, and the most long term consequences. Not just mild fever and irritability (although that is a possibility), but irreversible brain damage. If there is one vax NOT to get, IMO, it's the DTaP. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv...hots/shot1.htm This article is about the DPT, and the formula has since changed to be DTaP. But the new vaccine is not much safer.
These are the instructions, right? http://www.hyenacart.com/IrishBabyKn....php?c=12&p=18
You can do it in stockinette. You'll just have to deal with curling until you can put a border on.
The baby is beautiful!
Have you thought about getting a prescription for some all purpose nipple ointment from your MW? I had eight weeks of terrible pain with my first -- I know what that toe-curling-I-can't-do-this-anymore pain is like. It's so hard. I agree that you just have to get through one day at a time. Just today. http://www.breastfeedingonline.com/3b.html
An Ergo doesn't work for a NB without the insert, so a MT may be a better bet. However, once the baby gets heavier, the Ergo is invaluable -- so comfy.
I would only do it if my son specifically requested it. I wouldn't even suggest it. I think curling his hair is a good way to get him teased, unfortunately. Why does his hair need body? Also, care to introduce yourself? Noticed you're new here.
