Khan Academy has a new "Computer Science" section that I highly recommend looking at- good instruction and VERY interactive- to get the basics of programming.
That's the only one I've been to.   We've got a small local unschooling group around Seattle, but we haven't really had any large gatherings.   My kids would like every day to be LifeIsGood. :)

Yeah, I don't see a problem with buckling- put the second RF seat behind the installed captains chair- you've got all the room in the world to get in there and help buckle with the second captains chair removed.
