It is my understanding that the shot type flu vax does not shed because it is not a LIVE virus. The FluMist sheds because it is a live virus.

I'm no expert, but I did read somewhere that if you give the 4th dose of DTaP after the 4th b-day then the child doesn't have to get the 5th dose at all. So, maybe you could just skip the 20 mo DTaP and then the 27 mo would be the 3rd...

There are a few others, but the ones that are needed for school that have aborted fetal tissue are MMR and Varicella (chic pox). The others are Hep A and I think rabies. As far as what is needed for school, you can either go online...
