By the way....thanks for all the recommendations!! I am going to check these out!

I am looking for a good (preferably whole foods) children's vitamin for my 4 yo DS. I bought the Greens Today for children yesterday. DS took one last night and woke up this morning with puffy eyes. He is obviously sensitive to one of the ingredients in it (has several herbs). So, we will be taking it back to our health food store, but before we buy anything else I wanted to see if anyone had any recommondations or had luck with any other brands?? Thanks!
Tell him, "Ultimately, whatever decision I make is one that I will have to live with. I simply could not live with myself if I had my child vaccinated against such-in-such and my child had a horrible reaction/regressed terribly/died/etc. This child is MY child. I accept any consequences that come with my child catching, oh, say, the chicken pox (scary stuff there LOL). Let's agree to disagree on this. I'm not changing my mind. If we can't have a conversation on other...
Anyone??
In Florida it is illegal for them to ask you what religion you are when you request a religious exemption. You do not have to be affiliated with any religion at all. I would double check on what you have to do to obtain the religious exemption, because it was much easier here that I thought it would be. DH just went to the health department and said he wanted a religious exemption for our son and the woman handed him a form to sign - that was it! In response to...
I have been vegetarian twice and during one of those stretches I was vegan for a bit (after I found out about rennet in cheese). I have to be honest - it was the worst I ever felt, and that is why I went back to eating meat. I was training for a marathon during the first time, and halfway through decided that there was no way that I could finish the training if I continued being a vegetarian. I became vegetarian because I just hate the way that animals are treated and...
Need some recommendations here. DS is 4 1/2 yo and is currently enrolled in preschool and getting help for some speech/language delays - in particular articulation errors. He has shown some "red flags" in the past for autism (mainly the language delay), but nothing that any of his teachers or specialists said could definitely put him in this catagory. He has come such a long way this past year and is really doing great with his speech. He is extremely smart (knows all...
Oops! Duplicate posting. For some reason my computer posted my message twice. Anyway....I thought of one more thing to mention...the only vaccines that are required are the ones that you need to get into school. The CDC recommends more than are needed for school enrollment. Even then, you can get a religious exemption (and some states have other options) to opt out of vaccines.
