Thank you all for taking the time to answer my silly post!
I went onto her website and liked another one even more! Saw that she does do a french seam and sells them in a boutique, too (so I hope they'd be good quality! )
I'm in the market for a new baby pouch for DS#2 on the way...most that I've really liked are a bit too feminine for wearing a boy. I found this one and love it
But DH thinks it's a little much...and the other pouches I have are more elegant. What do you all think? I think DS1 would love it, too and would probably want to be carried in it himself, instead of his little brother!
I know just how you feel. My DS was only 10 months old when I found out I was pregnant and I'm so busy being his mom, I haven't been celebrating this pregnancy as much as I would like.
One thing I did do was buy myself a pair of earrings...they're silver pregnant women sitting cross-legged--very goddess like. I'm also planning to do a Belly Blessing, even found a whole kit on eBay.
Because I delivered DS1 at exactly 36 weeks and because this time around I've been having alot of Braxton-hicks, my doc is thinking I'll most likely deliver early again. She suggested I get a shot of a steroid called Celestone. My first thought was no, I'm not into any type of drug interventions, but after she explained the drug specifically helps to develop the lungs and will not bulk up the baby (as I thought), I'm inclined to do it. I'd have to go to the hospital and...
I've got a mei tai and a pouch sling for DS 1. I never used either when he was newborn so I'm super excited! I'd love to buy, like, 20 more pouches, but I'll settle for 1 new pouch for this baby. Found a site that gives a free pouch for daddy, too. http://www.withchildgifts.com
Yep--you'll be able to nurse fine! I have huge boobs (40 G at the moment) and the pouch is the best. I'm sure you can find a cheap one on eBay--make sure you factor in your bust size and height when deciding on a size. I've seen some on there that make XXL pouches.
