My DD just started waking up in the middle of the night starving. I think it is a growth spurt. Well - I hope. Anyway - "I am hungry" gets food. "I am thirsty" gets water at night.

I don't have any advice but you made me feel so much better because I have pretty much the same hang ups as you! Sell by dates, leftovers, food in the fridge more than a couple of days. We did a CSA last year and I couldn't do the eggs...

Before 24 months!

My 2.5 year old knows her colors and has since prior to 2 I believe. I'm not exactly sure how she learned them - but one day she pretty much knew them all.

Our first ped had a wait of a minimum of 1 hour EVEN for the 1st appointment of the day. It was usually 1.5 - 2. Needless to say, our quality of life improved greatly when we switched peds and now it is under 10 minutes.
