"Your daughter (name) recognizes letters really well." (She's in kindergarten.) Sigh. This guy obviously forgot I told him at the first of the year that my dd can read on a 3rd grade level. Can't they even REMEMBER...
For those of you who are married or in a long-term relationship, do you go on "dates" with your husband/partner (without the kids)?

Elder Nelson said, "We denounce war." I was so proud of him for taking a stand by saying that. Then the church issued an official "retraction," but at least Elder Nelson got to say what he felt!
One more thought--make sure you get your son into clubs/groups--like AYSO or Boy Scouts. Then he will have organized friends. (My daughter loves playing soccer!!!) You can start AYSO at 4 1/2 in most places.
I feel the same way. And my dd, who is in K but reads on a 3rd grade level, mostly plays by herself. I don't have the answers. I think sometimes being smart costs us socially.
I'd like to try the melt and pour method. (Lye scares me.) So I'd love links!
