I think it's ok, if there are warning signs (such as those whatsnextmom posted about, suicidal remarks, etc...) or if my child were to go missing.

So many dogs have leash fear aggression. My Aussie is definitely more fearful and aggressive on-leash.

I've only tried the ergo but we like it! DD is only 10 weeks old. I never got the infant insert, I just used a blanket and now I don't use anything. She's always had good neck control, though.
