Love this principle, but I usually make it with barbecue sauce. I have heard of using Italian dressing, too. Many variations!
I don't have a microwave, so it's easier for me to use the crockpot & not have to keep an eye on the oven. Flavor-wise, I think the crockpot ones are very similar to conventional, especially if you do 3-4 hours on high rather than 8 hrs. on low.
Hi Frugalmama,   You might want to try Simple Living Forums: http://www.simplelivingforum.net/forumdisplay.php?10-Simple-Living-Forums   They are not specifically DR oriented, but it's generally a knowledgeable, helpful group. I was an active member for a long time (10 yrs?), but haven't participated for a few years, because it got to be "same old, same old".

Not sure why you put "law" in quotes? If FIL wants things distributed a certain way, and DH after him, they have to write that into their wills. If FIL dies with no will, I believe the estate would be split half to his spouse and half to his children, regardless of gender. Same for your DH. Monday - Tofu-broccoli stirfry with lemon sauce (soy sauce, lemon juice, sugar, garlic, corn starch), rice, shrimp gyoza from TJ's. Black beans and sour cream for DD2. Tuesday - Fish from TJ's (frozen cod), roasted potatoes, salad (fried egg for DD2) Wednesday - Pasta with frozen spinach, sauce and cheese (baked if I am being ambitious - or maybe wonderpot) & meatballs Thursday - Chicken, vegetables (fried egg for DD1)
I am, too! Just recently joined and love it as a way to keep my recipe bookmarks.
We didn't make a special meal - ordered in because DD1 was sick. Yummy, though - pizza and salad from one of our favorite places. Have to plan for next week!   PS Found this recently. Love the suggestion. Thinking of trying it next week:   Six Steps to a Healthy Weeknight Dinner http://www.health.com/health/gallery/0,,20780484,00.html
Here is an idea I tried once - one-pot wonders. I made the Italian Wonderpot. Easy and my family liked it.   Italian Wonderpot http://www.budgetbytes.com/2013/05/italian-wonderpot/   One-pot Wonder Cheeseburger Casserole http://4sonrus.com/2013/08/26/one-pot-wonder-cheeseburger-casserole/   Spinach and Artichoke Wonderpot http://www.budgetbytes.com/2013/10/spinach-artichoke-wonderpot/
