I'd like to sell. wool/cotton fill. moses basket/bird's nest size. unused. 3 fitted 100% cotton sheets for it. Ask me if u r intrested. nak -- Cait
We use a wool puddle pad... about $15 or so for a baby sized one. I put it under the fitted sheet in the place where the baby sleeps. It protects your mattress, mattress pad, matress topper (whatever you've got). I put a 100% cotton receiving blanket under the baby: nice and soft. This catches the bulk of the milk drips, milk spit-ups, and diaper leaks. The rest of the liquid goes through to the bed sheet, but it does not go through to the bed because the wool...
Well, my babies were 8 lbs. 12 ounces, 9 lbs. 4 ounces, and mostly recently, 8 lbs. 11 ounces. All were around 21-22 inches in length. And, the NB dipes didn't fit. With DD1: The OC prefolds didn't fit into the NB and S size wraps. With DD2: The Kissaluv size 0s were too small on the rise. The NB size diapers: no way. With DS: Many of the smalls don't fit. The serged-style FMBG AIOs don't fit in size small, but the fitteds and AIOs with FOE do fit....
Hi Kathleen!
Here's the link to the other thread about this: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=324245 The urea in pee-pee turns into ammonia while it is sitting, but it doesn't do it for newborn dipes ... don't know why. It is the ammonia that builds-up as a residue in the dipes, is that right? The solution to getting rid of the ammonia is to use vinegar in a rinse cycle, but... how much? Say, a cup for a full-load? Do you use vinegar at the beginning or at...
So, it's build-up of what? What builds-up on the diapers? And, how do I strip them of whatever it is? -- Caitlin
Homeopathic teething remedies generally come in multiple forms: * Hylands makes tablets in a base of lactose (not vegan) * Hylands makes a (vegan) gel in a vegetable glycerin base * other companies make a (vegan) liquid in an alcohol base... The "teething and colic" formula by Newton Homeopathics is my favorite. http://www.vitaminusa.com/07-88199-00026.html Their line is called "Nothing But Natural for My Kid" -- Caitlin Quote: Originally...
I just read the thread on Troubleshooting Stinky Diapers in the Diapering Archives. http://www.mothering.com/discussions...play.php?f=222 DD2's diaper really stink after she makes peepee, and I don't know where to put them. I am diapering DD2 and DS, ages 19 months and 5 weeks. I dunk the poopy diaper parts in the toilet and then throw the diapers into one of two garbage cans in the bathroom: "Diapers: Covers Only" without poopy residues or "Diapers: Innards...
I read up about BurnOut and vinegar... and vinegar won't kill the weeds at the root level, and BurnOut only kills some roots. My neighbor wants something that will kill the weeds at their roots. Here's two links to info on BurnOut. It is expensive stuff! It seems to me that it would be too expensive to buy enough to cover the area in question. . * http://www.commonsensecare.com/burnout-weed-killer.html . * http://www.biconet.com/lawn/burnout.html If I...
I am willing to try vinegar, boiling water, & Burn Out II. Or rather, to talk to my neighbor about using these options. He feels strongly that putting down the weed barrier cloth is not enough. Hmm. How much vinegar would I need to buy? It is pretty cheap at a "CostCo" type place (though I'm not a member, maybe I could find a member.) How would I boil that much water and transport it? I suppose that I could run a hose from the hot water tap in either my...
