I got mine done but the woman told me to hold off taking it until my sickness subsides... I was fortunate she wanted to trade for my jewelry in lieu of the $200 charge...Yeah for bartering! I can't wait to start taking it.
Calliope Fern came at 37w 4d, after an hour and a half long labor!
She was born 1-11-11, at 3:26 a.m., narrowly made it to the hospital with my 2 sons and dp who were witness to the immediate 3 push swift entry into air..
She was 7 lbs, 3 oz and 19.5 inches. She nursed like a champ.
Home, healthy, happy!
Calliope arrived 9 minutes after we got to the hospital, narrowly escaping my fear of a highway roadside birth. 3:26 am, 7 lbs, 3 oz, 19.5 inches. Hour and a half labor, my dp managed to get me and 2 of our (excited and alert) boys here in time...thank goodness. We are happily in love, she nursed for an hour right off the bat. I was 37 weeks and change, was expecting to go into February from my late Jan due date, but I am relieved to hold her in my arms early!!! All...
My daughter arrived in a whirlwind of precipitous labor...hour and a half, 9 minutes in the hospital...she is 19.5 inches and 7 pounds 3 ounces, born at 37 weeks, 4 days. Exhausted and over the moon. She came on 1/11/11 at 3:26 a.m., both my birth sons were there and alert and excited. Yeah!
I don't wear the baby all the time, but I love it for walking, or fussiness, or just closeness and loving. My back isn't the best, and as I get older it is less and less capable of carrying the weight continually, but I do love it when I can. I love the Moby Wrap for the early stages, and I bought an Ergo for this time around, we'll see what I can handle when she gets big enough for that.
