Yes exactly it was like an overnight change for her too. one day I was in the launddry room with her and asked her to pull her clothes out of the dryer for me and just put them in the basket. I know, real hard. She said, "I don't want to." I said, "Please just do it. I'm not asking you to fold them. It will just take a second to pull them out" (I was putting a load in the washer) She said, "I'm not going to do it." I said, "Please help me with your laundry. ...
My 8 year old daughter is often lying to me now. "honey, did you clean up the tech center?" "yes." "Are you sure?" "Yes Mom, how many times are you going to ask me that?" "Okay great. Thanks! I appreciate it. Get in the car, we're going to school." Later I get home and go upstairs to find the tech center hasn't been cleaned at all. Surely she knew I would see it. She lies a lot about things she doesn't want to do, mostly cleaning up, and treats she's...
We have a lot of the same issues going on with my two kids. Just wanted to jump in with a car idea that is working for us. To head off the fighting I say, "Let's play the veggie game" (or the fruit or the animal game) One of us thinks of a veggie and describes it, "It's long, green, has seeds and a skin..." and the others try to guess which veggie it is. Then the next person thinks of one and describes it. Sometimes we play 20 questions with the secret veggie: "Is...
We're doing a tofurkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans in a thai peanut sauce, and vegan cheesy sourdough bread. All at my kids' request. I, er, forgot to think about dessert though. May have to set out some easter candy to satisfy them.
My husband just did a 30 day trial of the 80/10/10 raw diet and he posted his entire experience in his blog. he was meticulously detailed, describing what he ate, all the calories and fat, etc and his weight and how he felt each and every day. It became a very popular diary of a raw food experiment. Here is a link to the first post in the log and then a link to his summary if you just want to read...

hello, author here. Just wanted to clarify. Yes, the book is not for gourmet cooks who want to make anise and almond lace cookies or their own seitan from scratch We purposely designed the book to give busy moms ideas and recipes to feed their kids fast and easy. I don't know about you guys but I don't usually have time to make my own lasagna sauce from scratch. Boy I wish I did Those were the days. Only 19 out of 200 recipes include fake cheese and in most of...
Thanks I'm going to try the Goodnites. That sounds good. Is it okay to put diaper rash cream directly on the penis? Sometimes his is very red and obviously painful.
My 4.5 year old DS has good bladder control during the day, no problemo. But at night he pees in his underwear and just keeps right on sleeping. So by morning he's been lying in it for hours and he develops a rash around where the bands of his underwear are (legs and stomach). I always have him pee before bed. I'm not clear on what time of night this is happening and he doesn't really know either. His rash gets really bad and painful. What can I do in this...
