I can't wait for Biggest Loser, Parenthood and Modern Family among others. What are you waiting for?
Thank you for that only on DOOL convoluted story. I only knew of EJ, but not many details. I wish I had caught the episode where they said goodbye to Alice. Maybe I'll look for it on YouTube. So did Marlena and John really leave? Roman too? I'll have to sneak a peak on a soap opera website and see who is still around.
I think only this crowd will appreciate my recent frustration. I'm getting so sick of how many times the grandparents tell my kids how proud they are of my kids for going to school and how over-the-moon excited they are that they are going ( the gp's so excited the kids are going). They were never happy about us hsing so I get it but it's really getting to me. They never even tried to understand or be a part of my kids schooling before but NOW it's like a miracle has...
I've never dealt with this situation, but I do have a dd (9) who has very much resented her brother and has made life very difficult at times. And I have a 4yo who has very much tested the "good mom" label I once felt like I wore. It can be so difficult, so I empathize. Can your ds's dad help with the transition? Can you work together? Have him talk to your ds before he gets dropped off? Can you make the drop offs consistent on day and time? Also, has he...
I used to watch Days - for a looooong time, but stopped watching a few years ago, but yet I still feel the need to read threads like this. So with that said, I have to ask - why would Sami be a Dimera? Last time I checked in, she was Marlena and Roman's daughter and a Brady. I'm sure it is a comlicated story, but if you feel like answering, I would love to hear. Thanks!
I would back off for awhile. You don't want a power struggle. I've been there and it's only recently getting a little better and mine is 9.5. Since everyone else eats the veggies and fruits, keep putting them out and don't say anything. Pass around each dish and let every family member serve themselves. No comments from anyone is allowed. Also, include some of the ideas here about things like pumpkin pancakes and adding purees to the beans. Your job is to feed your...
Wow, what a day that was! How scary! I have a son that gets crazy like you describe so I understand, but only age has helped him and only a little. We also have some different circumstances that won't apply to you. The thing that sticks out to me about your story is that when the other mom wasn't there, they were well behaved. Could the other mom be an issue? Could it be either her personality or the fact that you two are chit-chatting and they get crazy with the...
This is us this year! I've always homeschooled my kids - dd 9 and ds 4. When ds was getting in the way of dd doing work with me (we didn't do much formal, but an hour or so at most), I decided to look at preschools for him to give dd and me a chance to do somethings. Well, in that process, dd spoke up that she wanted to give school a try. She was missing some social aspect due to hs friends moving away or being so over-active, they didn't have any time. And any school...
Her adult teeth could be coming in. I know my dd used to be like that at that age. My ds who will be 4 next month is complaining that his teeth hurt already.
We only read Kit, Molly, Samantha and some of Julie. We tried Kirsten, but in the first one her best friend dies and dd was only 5 or 6, so it was too much for her. I think the ones people would be sensitive to would be Addie, Kaya and Josephina. As far as accurate history, I didn't see anything glaring. To me, it just gives a glimpse in an intersting way at how life was for a girl in that time. It's fiction. It gives the kids a great way to like history for future...
