My daughter is 17 months old, just here recently, she has been sick and we THINK it is cause of cows milk. The first day she got sick, she just threw up all day, so I stopped giving her milk. The next day I didn't give her milk and she did fine all day, so at bed time I give her some milk and that night she threw it up, and it was as if it seperated itself from the food she had eaten... So I started last night and give her Lactose free milk, and she hasn't been sick and...
Thanks guys! I finally got the doctors office to answer the other day, She told me that i could take plain Robitussin (sp?) with no letters behind the name. It worked amazingly GREAT! Thanks for all of your replys!!
I will be 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I have a TERRRRRRRRRRIBLE Cough!! I've looked on the internet and can't find anything.. It just tells me certain things in medicines not to take. If anyone knows of a website that will tell me what I can take, that would be wonderful! With an 11 month old and coughing all night long, you can only imagine how much sleep I'm getting! lol Thanks a bunch in advanced (also, i've called the doc. and I can't get anyone to...
I have a potty training question, sorry if there is another thread out there like this, here is another. When is your child old enough to wipe their own butt?? My step son is 5 years old, will be 6 in November. He just started Kindergarten this year. When me and my husband first got together, dss was 4 and still had his butt whiped for him, I was like ok so I did it for him, then as he got older and after he had turned 5 I thought to myself, isn't he old enough?...
With my daughter being 4 months old, I still had no experience with this.. I thought to myself.. hmm, I probabley wouldn't mind. Untill this past week. My husbands Grandfather passed away, and we went to the funeral, there was alot of family there, all wanting to hold the baby. So, of course I didn't mind then. It's family! Whether or not I know them or not, It is my husbands family. THEN... Yesterday.. me and my husband took Lyndsey to get her shots. He carried her,...

This is a late question, but I didn't have this resource when I first had my baby. But I'm just curious... When Lyndsey was born, she was a month early and weighed 5lb 4oz. I wanted to breastfeed, and we tried to in the hospital, but she wouldn't latch on.. Then another nurse tried to help and she wouldn't do it.. When we got home, I kept trying, but she just wouldn't take it, the doctor and nurses said it's cause I wasn't relaxed, but I WAS! BUT, I think it's just...

That's a whole different story, because you are supporting them with your body. And I think most babies will "stand" in laps or even bounce pretty early. They seem to really have fun too, but I honestly think that it is just a reflex, from the pressure on their feet. I...
