Taking notes over here ;)  We PCS back to the states in August from South Korea...we'll have our two dogs and an extra kid (bringing us up to 4 kids total, lol).  We'll also have an undetermined amount of time in lodging.  I feel your pain :)  One thing I'm considering is some sort of contraption to strap the car seats on to make hauling them through the airport easier.  My Ergo was indispensable when we came here (my daughter was 18 months old)...I couldn't have made it...
DDCC to say that my two oldest had the eye ointment, and they both had horrible blocked ducts for months too. My 2 youngest didn't get the ointment, and they both had clear beautiful eyes, no gunk or tears. I did get flack this last time (military hospital) and some fear tactics, but just stuck to my guns and they left me alone eventually.
DEFINITELY worth the wait!!! thanks!!
I'm still waiting on the bulk of them (fingers drumming smiley, lol) but I have a few to tide me over! And a bonus one of my daughter playing around with one of the props. my boys fly UM all the time, both within CONUS, between CONUS and Amsterdam, and between Amsterdam and Korea. IME it's very easy, they enjoy the independence, and the airlines take VERY good care of them. International flights usually charge more for the chaperone service because there's usually connections and long layovers, and the chaperone stays with them all the way and in the airports.
His birthday is 10-13 at 8:20 pm...we were hot on each other's heels! lol. Congrats to you, too! Those last few days were so hard, weren't they?
here's the brief version after some headaches obtaining my medical records, a NST, and an ultrasound, I was admitted Wednesday night to have my water broken. 2 fast and furious and breathtaking hours later, my 3rd son was born while I was on my hands and knees (and half off the bed, no less, lol...but I'll tell the story in detail later) He was 9 pounds, 4.9 ounces, 19 inches long, APGARs were 9 and 9...completely drug free (first time!! Not even any Pit!!) They...
I'm calling and scheduling an induction this morning. I've been up all night weighing the pros and cons and searching my heart, and this just feels right to me at this point. I'm heartbroken at the loss of my homebirth (and this is is my last pregnancy as well) so I have some grieving to do. It's bittersweet though, because I'm VERY anxious to meet my little man too! I will update later after the WICU opens and I speak to the OB on staff, but there's a very good...
I'm still here, gestating away
