Someone stole our stroller ($60) from our parking garage the other day. We have 2 but my dd was so upset that it was gone. I put it in the corner of our parking spot so we could have space in the trunk for groceries--2 hrs later it was gone. Pisses me off to think that someone out there is pushing their kid around in it. I wish I had never left...
man I mdc
We're in Ithaca, NY...so thats a bit of a hike from MA.
My parents are talking about getting a replacement for us, but I feel so bad that they feel obligated to do that.
stupid people...probably never thought at all about how many people their actions would affect...
OMG I am so crushed
I can't believe it
We live on a circle off of a dead end...itty bitty street with like 6 houses....all retired couples or young families...you know the dream street.
and some UAV stole my kids' kettler trike
they LOVE that thing
We soooo splurged on it...so we didn't have to worry about them being rough on it and 'cause they are so adjustable
and now I think I'm going to go cry
I would at the VERY LEAST come back for very limited hours--maybe just one or two hours a day?
and s.l.o.w.l.y. add hours back in
I had to go back to work at 12 days post-partum, but I worked from home and part time, so while it sucked, it wasn't as bad as your situation.
I wouldn't take any less than 3 SOLID weeks off, and then start back at SUPER part-time, if you can/want.
Birth Choices Ithaca
Birth Fair to Educate Ithaca-Area Women about Birth Options and to Share
What: Many providers of birth and complementary care services to the
Ithaca area will come together for a free birth fair designed to give women
and their families the opportunity to share birth stories and learn about
the services available for families before, during, and after birth. As
part of a worldwide movement called Birth on Labor...
same story here....I used to say I would never have one....
then came ds3 who SPRINTS and is a SILENT hider.
Talk about a bad combination!!!
So he has the bear backpack harness
and loves it.
and yes...I feel awful having him on a leash, but better about that than him being lost or injured because he thought it would be funny to run as fast as he can.
*big huge sigh*
so I sent my letter...got a quick response that they'd be in touch...
got an email the next day from one of the people who originally put me in touch with the company--he said the aren't going to go mid-40's....what else can we work out...
so we talked for a bit. He knows the lowest I can afford to go is 42K....and he knows I'd do p/t contract work for them, if it came down to it.
that was Tuesday.
I haven't heard back since.
