That's true. The Hannah Poling case will forever be a thorn in the pro-vax movement due to her parents being medical professionals, and other reasons. I think a lot of the recent pro-vaccine media hype and scapegoating of vaccine critics is due to the publicity this case received and how it made even the staunchest mainstream news people take notice.
That's good to know. I used to keep the Rite Aid version around just in case and then they started adding a bunch of horrible blue dye and other crap ingredients.
That's good to know! I had a very bad case of the mumps in elementary school and now have permanent hearing damage from it (this experience in no way influences me to vaccinate however).  Diseases are scary to those who don't have the knowledge to treat them effectively. I wouldn't be scared at all if my dd got it; I nursed her through chickenpox pretty well and am pretty sure that I could help her through mumps. Surely a lot better than my parents did, but what did...
"Who’s to blame for the return of measles? Is it the 'loons' who refuse to vaccinate their children? Or is it the celebrities who champion the anti-vaccination campaign?" Nice way to play the blame game and make this issue seem so black and white when it's not.
You probably read somewhere that he'd interviewed a vaccine industry insider and it's triggering a memory.http://www.vaccinationinformationnetwork.com/jon-rappaport-interviews-former-vaccine-researcher-dr-mark-randall/
WTH this woman is posting comment after comment on Kristin Cavallari's Facebook page. Wish I had a job that paid me to sit on my butt posting comments all over the Internet!    https://www.facebook.com/KristinCavallari   ETA: There ought to be a megaphone app so people who have the time can find out where pharma trolls like her are posting and go counter her arguments. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megaphone_desktop_tool
I haven't gotten one, but my holistic M.D. is also vehemently against vaccines and may not be sending any vaccine information out to the insurance company. I'll post a reply if I ever get one.
They mainly come out when people start poking holes in the pro-pharma arguments. Even Dorit needs to conserve her seemingly superhuman abilities. ;-)
http://gianelloni.wordpress.com/2014/03/14/thanks-pharma-you-created-the-anti-vaccine-movement/   A good rebuttal to "Thanks, Anti-Vaxxers. You Just Brought Back Measles in NYC."   My short response is:      Hat tip to applejuice for mentioning it.
Doesn't it seem like the party line is "the newest pharma product is always the best"?
