I always offer less than the asking price when I go to buy things of CL. I'm not rude about it, I agree that I like the item, and politely ask if they'll take X for it, and have gotten some great deals like that. I figure they can say YES or NO or find a price in the middle. Does that make me a horrible person?

How horrible! You are NOT overreacting. Also, not the dog's problem as much as it's your parents' problem. He can't help being a dog, THEY were responsible to train him how to be/live and to WATCH him with your daughter.

I think you should say something to her perhaps she doesn't realize what she's doing or how bad it is? I think it's appropriet to draw her attention to it and let her know how hurtful it is to you.
