My 2.5 yr old ds has intermittent exotropia...I found it on the internet and the pictures are exactly the same. I took him to the dr a few months ago and they couldn't see anything wrong. Anyone deal with exotropia or how they got it corrected-went away on its own, surgery glasses? Or do they just wait......right now it only points outward when we start pushing him on the swings, it corrects itself after about 5 seconds or he's spinning around.....Thanks for the input
My 2 1/2 yr old ds has his right eye wander off to the side sometimes, usually when swinging, spinning around, or tilting his head...it doesn't last for very long but his eye goes all the way to the side and the other one stays straight. We took him to the eye specialist a few months ago and they couldn't find anything. So I looked online and he has intermittent exotropia....I can tell for sure by the pictures. Anyone have experience with this? If so, what did they do...
Maybe move them back to the same room? I had my twins separated into different rooms when they were 5 months old because my ds (was a horrible sleeper) kept waking his sister. Two months ago I moved them back into the same room (ds wouldn't go down for naps well or at night without being rocked). I expected it to go horribly and that I would be moving him back into his own room but they absolutely loved it. The first night we put them both down wide awake....my ds...
My ds is 2 1/2 and attends TAP (Toddler Austism Program) twice a week. The only time he has cried was the first day. There are 3 girls in his class who are on the higher end of the spectrum and they cry the whole time. My ds doesn't like crying so he puts his hands over his ears, he is on the low end of the spectrum.....a little delayed but catching up. They have always been one on one with a teacher and now they said they are going to pair up a couple of...
I had to buy 2 cribs....my dd was rolling over at 9 days old so I bought a crib separater but than my ds was too long to lay sideways and we had to put them in separate cribs at 2 months old. At 5 1/2 months old my ds kept waking up my dd at night so we had to move him to a separate room. I put them back in the same room when they turned 2 and they love it....and both sleep great.
Yes, Welch fruit snacks to it for us....and it's not only green but like neon green.....it took us a while to figure out what it was.
I'm just curious what type of dental work is being done for kids under 2, escpecially some of the one yr olds......how did you know they needed dental work at such a young age? Well good luck......my 2 yr old ds is having surgery for a hernia on Tuesday morning so I'm very nervous.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had their child be a peer student in special needs preschools. My ds may be in a SN preschool next year and I'm not sure what to do with his twin sister. I would like them to be together but I don't want her to be held back at all. It is also five days a week, which I am not ready to have them gone that long. It would be hard to have her in a different one because they are at the same time as his and I don't want to be late dropping one...
I'm just wondering if anyone choose not to put their child in a SN preschool. My ds is right now labeled as ASD but there is a good chance that he is just delayed and has a few sensory issues. He's 28 months old and starting to talk and his therapists don't think he is ASD anymore. I know its still a year away but I'm not sure if I want him in a SN preschool or not. It's five days a week, which I'm not sure if I want him gone everyday. And he has a twin sister which...
With me, they saw one sac at 3 weeks and when I went back at 6 weeks, there were two babies....
