my hubby likes Rayne too :) i would go with Rayne Violet. that way, you both get a name you like. i think it sounds just as good as Rayne Aurora does.

oh, and to the original question, we find a happy medium between parents. it doesn't seem fair to let one kid do something another kid doesn't get to do so we usually meet somewhere in the middle, not enforcing one parents' rules...
