Thanks for the good ideas! Having him help with it more is a really good idea. Right now he has been just standing and watching. I have already been adding the "bribing" factor by offering chocolate for if he poops on the potty. I also like the idea of putting his potty in a "hiding" place. I really think that one might work. Wish I had thought of it. We were giving him privacy when on the potty, but it still wasn't enough. It wasn't one of his regular hiding...
My 2 1/2 yo is fully potty trained...as long as you are talking about peeing. We cannot get him to poop in a potty. I really can't handle cleaning up a "pooped in pants" mess much longer!!! I even used cloth with my children, but in the pants is a much bigger mess! I have tried to watch him very closely when he needs to poop. I take him and sit him on the potty and he won't go. He waits for the one time that we are not watching him like a hawk and then he hides and...
Also - I know I saw where someone had mentioned the disabled woman that WM was suing. Not that it changes MY mind at all about WM - but they are not taking the money and are stoppinga ll litlgation. The saddest part is taht had it not gotten the media exposure that it did, they probably would not have changed anything about what they were doing. The husband had already tried to get WM to stop and they did not. but OOOOHHH make them "look" bad (as if they didn't...
In my previous post I never mentioned that I, too, worked at a Wal-mart about 10 years ago now. It was a SuperWM and I got hired in right as it was being built. My personal experiences were not ALL bad, yet there were WAY too many negatives, mostly involving management that did not truly care about employee concerns enough. I won't get into everything in detail, but all in all, my WM days were pretty miserable. Within the 10 months that I worked there I worked in 5...

We have only one acre. We have one rooster and 7 hens. They free range all over! They go into our neighbors yard and even along the road. We do offer them a grain chicken scratch to supplement and even toss them some bread crusts and such when the kids don't finish it (homemade wholewheat bread). They enjoy getting into my compost pile too. I would say that you are good to have them free-range on your property. Yes they poop and do it ANYWHERE, but we rarely see...
I have just a bunch of cheap white (very stained) washcloths. A friend of mine was a little smarter and bought a bunch of cheap BROWN washcloths. The stains do not show up as much.
