I'm not sure if chiropractic is even covered by Medicaid. Does anyone know? If so can you give me names of doctors? BTW-It's for a pregnant mom so they would have to be pregnancy trained ( if that's what you call it )
It just came on the TV and I am watching. They are discussing the hospital vs home birth experience. It's interesting...
they are showing one mom giving birth in the hospital and comparing it to another mom giving birth at home with a mw.
Oh poor momma in the hospital...she can't push cuz the dr isn't there yet!
I'm making my way through all these posts. So happy to have found this. Let me explain why...I have 2 daughters that are suffering from depression.
One is breastfeeding her 20 month old. She goes up and down. As a teenager it was pretty bad and they put her on Prozac, which, quite literally, made her crazy. Probably one of the scariest times of my life. Eventually she was put on Wellbutrin, which did ease the depression some. After her 2nd was born she experienced PPD...
She can look at www.har.com They are a real estate site, but they also have rental listings. She can do a search by zip code so she will be near her job. There is also the "For Rent" website. They advertise apartments.

Great news! The baby came last night at 11:30 pm. She was nearly born in the car on the way to the birth center. To get her to focus she was "blowing feathers." Not the best way (or place) to be in transition. There was barely time to get on the bed and out she came. Momma went from "I lost my plug and maybe my water broke" to holding the wee one in her arms less than 2 hours later...
Momma told me next time there wont be a car ride...
My daughter experienced this very early on in her pregnancy. At 12 weeks there is plenty of time for the placenta to move up away from the cervix as the uterus grows. That's what they told her and they were right. She had a vaginal birth.
It's easier said than done, but try not to worry too much.
