We are a family of 7, (3 adults and 4 children) and we spend around $800/month on groceries and maybe an additional $100 on eating out and beer.  That $100 is a high estimate, though.

Yesterday we had bbq chicken sandwiches, potato salad and coleslaw.  Today we are having chili and cornbread casserole.
Last night was taco night with all the fixings, tonight is veggie lasagna with garlic bread.
Today a friend gifted us with a homemade chicken pot pie and a big container of homemade stuffed pepper soup.  Tomorrow the inlaws are bringing us beef stew.  Not sure what we did to get so lucky, but we are enjoying it!
Chicken tetrazzini with peas and mushrooms.   MIL gave us 3 rotisserie chickens, we used the first on chicken curry, and we will use the last one on chicken enchiladas.
We had the best chicken curry for lunch, and I just "winged it" so I hope I can make it again sometime.  It had apples in it and it came out so deliciously sweet.   For dinner we are having breakfast:  french toast...
LOVE pupusas!  Our one and only pupusa restaurant closed a few years ago, and I miss it.  I will have to make them soon!   Tonight we are having swiss cheese scalloped potatoes with ham.
