Shopping and meal planning today.
Tonight is trout fillets - need to come up with sides.
Thursday is pot roast with a soffrito base, tomatoes and red wine served over polenta with broccoli. I'll serve the broccoli with lemon and capers so DS1 will eat it. I'll freeze the leftovers in some easy-to-reheat packs.
Friday is grainy mustard chicken roasted with carrots, parsnips and potatoes with more broccoli on the side.
Saturday we'll have ham and pea soup for lunch and pasta...
