I love reading this thread!
Crazy BH last night and a few random contractions this morning. Hope it means *something* is happening... I already feel that bowling ball feeling all day long. I'm only 37w1d, but dd2 was 8 days early.
After treating myself with garlic for 3 days prior to the test, always drinking/eating lots of fermented foods like water kefir, yogurt, raw milk and immune-boosting foods like bone broth and astragalus, I STILL tested positive for GBS this pregnancy. I even gave myself the swab and was a little more "light" on the test than an OB probably would have been, so antibiotics it will be for me. I tested positive in urine early in my last pregnancy, and although it was...
Yep, those are what I'm wearing, too, except mine aren't the wedge ones! I bought two pair of teva mushes a few years ago and am now down to one pair that has seen better days. I'll be investing in another pair next year ;)
I feel as though I have so much left to do. I finally broke down to dh the other day and told him I NEED him to get the baby clothes and bed/bouncer out of storage so I can get them ready. Other things are probably doing ok, although I definitely need to clean more. My freezer is filling up and I *want* to craft more, but not sure how much I will realistically get done...
I never wear lace up shoes unless I'm hiking (even when not pregnant) ;) I'm living in my birk clogs when it's rainy or I feel like covering my toes and my teva flip flops when it's nice out.
In winter, I wear my uggs. Fall, I stick to my clogs or cowboy boots (although not while pregnant- those are difficult to get off).
I used PUL for the wetbag :) It's a nice printed PUL I got in a co-op.
That leggings pattern looks adorable. I just don't feel up to sewing knits this week... lol I do like the minimal finishing knit fabric has though. I sewed my two daughters knit dresses for the first time in the spring. Much easier than I expected it to be.
Here are my finished 3 pair of nursing pads. Two are waterproof with pul backs and one pair is not. I also changed the pattern...
