We do photobooks or framed pictures. We also get my grandmother snack foods. Her appetite is waning and it's hard for her to get enough calories. If she doesn't cook I would focus on tasty nibbles. You can hit a variety of tastes that way. I'm thinking some cheese, crackers, pre-shelled pistachios, tiny chocolates. whatever kind of thing she likes. That way even if she doesn't want to make a meal she can grab a tasty treat.
