I've read several stories where babies were admitted to the hospital after a home birth because of the "non-sterile environment". Yeah, thanks. I'll take my non-sterile environment over the hospital's ANY day.
During labor my m/w kept asking me if I could feel the baby moving. I couldn't... but everything was fine... I never felt my first move during labor, either. Until his head was out, and he literally kicked his way out!

If you are going to testify, you can't be in the room while the proceedings are taking place. So you would know when you get there, because someone's lawyer would tell you that you couldn't sit in the audience. If that makes sense.
