This is x-posted over in the WA/OR/ID Tribal area. Thought it might be a good idea to drop it over here as well. bLLLessings! Kerndra ******************* Poplar Heights Birth and Wellness Center in Port Orchard will hold an Open House for the community. What are your favorite (most trusted) alternative treatments for GBS+ homebirth moms? Obviously most would use antibiotics. What if that were not possible? When do you test and when do you treat? How often do you use the alternative therapy? Thanks in advance. I learn so much here from all you wise ladies!
Here's a link to her story. She was one of the original 7 (Edwina Froehlich) who helped to blaze the trail for so many of us. She birthed her children *at home* and breastfed them all back in a day when it was not just "crunchy" but considered irresponsible. http://www.indymoms.com/posts/edwina...er-passed-away

I'm wondering if any of you with homebirth practice, have suggestions on good models/brands to try? Do you use battery op digi...
Hi you two! It's nice to connect with a couple of moms with PRS affected children. To answer the question about genetic testing, we did not opt for it. We have a strong family history of Sticklers Syndrome which often results in PRS babies so this was the cause in our case. Both my dad and I are Stickler's affected. :0( Here's the link to some Stickler's info. http://sticklers.org/sip2/content/view/16/17/ SamLuke had a rough first couple of years and had loads of...
Hi, This is my first post over here on this topic. I'm typically post in my tribal area and lurk in the birth professional area. I was actually looking to see if I could find other mothers of PRS kiddos and here you are! Our SamLuke was born at home in 2000. He was my fifth child and my first special needs baby. He's doing very well now and I actually would love to hear from other moms/dads who have little ones with this dx who might like to email back and forth...
