Definately NOT in the 100-150 price range...but if at all possible I would HIGHLY recommend the Vitamix. It rocks...and you figure 50 bucks per blender...by the time you've fried 6 blenders you've covered the Vitamix cost factor. Why I like them...I can make awesome smoothies with nothing more than the fruit/veggies I put into them (ie...no added juice/dairy/soy products to 'thin' out the fruit). Everything is made properly in about a minute. Replaces blender,...
Cristeen ~ Thank you for that info! You sure seem to be a wealth of knowledge. I look forward to learning more!
Okay...I'm on board with all of what you all have been saying, but I've been really confused in the whole health movement...what is the difference between HFCS and regular corn syrup (Karo). I mean...obviously Karo is still a modified sugar...which isn't a great everyday ingredient, but is it the same horrible substance that I heard isn't even LEGAL in some countries?
I've seen a lot of negative feed back about paying for grades. I was just wondering...what is the down side of it?
I did a search and went all the way back to January. I didn't see a topic on this so I hope it hasn't already been covered. Anyhow, I am interested in getting a 3-D ultrasound done. I only get one regular u/s through my doctors office and insurance and luckily I have had a healthy pg that doesn't require additional u/s. However, I am really interested in the 3-D's. I have an office close to me called Womb with a View and they perform them for $150. Included in this...
We had problems of a whole different type, but the bottom line...and the resolution were the same. Counseling. We send 11 y/o step daughter to counseling. She has been going for almost 2 years. Her problem was her mother...but in the same sense she had to learn to make 'decisions for herself'. Not let other people do it for you. Same thing that it sounds like your son needs. It took a good 6 months before we saw a significant change, but since then she has gotten...
I think you have to ask yourself first off, what do you expect them to do with the allowance? I have an 11 y/o stepdaughter, so let me tell you some of the ?'s we asked ourself before we set her allowance. First off...ask them what they think is fair (you may be AMAZINGLY surprised how little they want) *What do you want them to do with it? Pay for all activities, only special activities, pay for no activities just have this be 'extra' $$$ for them. *What will...
I think you handled it very well. Just as an FYI, if you have DirectTV or the DISH or something other than basic cable, then many of them have rating restrictions on them. I am in CA and we have DirectTV. I have an 11 y/o step daughter and we have her rating restriction set at PG-13. The reason...same as you, she can be watching a perfectly acceptable show and then the very next thing is straight on SOFT PORN. The way the lock works is when DH and I are watching TV...
I live in Central CA. It gets quite hot here. I am also an Insurance Agent. We have MANY, MANY, MANY wood fence issues with our customers. Many people want to put a claim in on their home policy for their wood fence. On average around here the wood fences only last 5-8 years. All it takes is one decent size storm to blow the whole thing down. Unfortunately the fence USUALLY is NOT covered because it has dry rotted. That becomes a maintenance issue which maintenance...
