We're in the midst of teething as well. Tylenol helps somewhat, but the most helpful so far has been a chunk of frozen breastmilk in a mesh feeder.
Okay, this is not something that was said to me, but rather, some atrocious parenting that I observed yesterday at a store. There were at least half a dozen women with babies and toddlers there, who could most delicately be described as "lower class". The toddlers were just being toddlers, and from what I observed were fairly well behaved. At the slightest provocation, the mothers (and I observed more than one doing this) yelled at or smacked their babies!!! The icing...
Seriously, just add a quarter cup or less of bleach to your wash and rinse an extra time. It's cheap, easy, and works on most funkiness. While bleach is not good to use all of the time, a little now and then will kill any residual bacteria that may be funking up your diapers.
Yup. I'm currently in what I call "what can I make now?!" mode. I switch between knitting and sewing. Right now I can think of nothing better than a few days to myself where I can sew all day!

If you have hard water, RLR is pure magic for getting rid of stinkies. Adding a small amount of bleach to the wash periodically is also a good way to get rid of the stinkies. As much as I hate to use bleach, sometimes it is the only thing that kills the funk.

: I'm pretty sure that I've been eating more than my 220+ lb husband since DD was born and I'm at least 10 lbs BELOW my prepregnancy weight. DD's getting fatter while mama's getting skinnier!
