Thanks!   Only a couple more hours until meds and bed...
I'm yearning for some of Storm Bride's dessert while really hoping my current kidney stone passes on its own so I don't have to have surgery again.    Holly, may I borrow your small violin?
Your babies are beautiful and you are an amazing mama!
I liked The Body Project. I'll have to read the other two as well.
I don't know that book, but I want a copy, too!
Oh how I wish I could send a Kindle back in time to when I was endlessly nursing babies who woke up at the slightest noise. I love it now, too, of course.
Go. Be brilliant. Be proud of yourself.
Fingers crossed for you.
The Bunnicula books by James Howe were really popular around here for a while as was Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book and Coraline. My just turned 9 year old (as in today) also liked Barbara Hambly's Those Who Hunt the Night, but I would preview that one since it is written for adults and contains some real violence.
Well, Juneau has a lot of Gold Rush and Tlingit history. My house was built in 1897 by a notoriously crabby mine foreman. A friend of mine lives in an old brothel. We have one of the fastest receding glaciers in the western hemisphere.
