I second this! I love my momagenda! I use the spiral refill without the fancy cover. Less expensive and it still has a very durable cover and it lays flat. There are free samples that you can look at to see if it might work for you.

This recipe looks like a pretty good version. If you don't do spicy this one might be good if you omit the peppers or replace with more mild ones. I'm jealous, our CSA stopped planting okra this year.
Both my girls had this. When the toddler would nurse I would pick it off. It was so gross! Someone suggested rubbing her scalp with virgin coconut oil and gently combing the crud out. We washed it afterwards with a gentle shampoo. It worked wonders and cleared right up!
