DH and I think that there are very few surprises in this world, and so we'll be waiting until the birth to find out. Besides, it's ticking my MIL off that we won't find out the sex, or tell her the real names we've picked out.
Just went in again last week for a 12 week check - still can't find the heartbeat on doppler, but that's because I'm a bit on the heavy side. The u/s showed a strong heartbeat, so I'm not worrying, and neither should you. It's really early to hear a heartbeat, so give it a week or two and you'll be hearing that beat loud and clear!
