Ooh, pretty!   23/52: DS' third long-sleeved T-shirt. I finally decided on an anchor applique, and did the upper bit of the sleeves in the same contrast fabric. I'm pleased with it. Sadly, it is not the last of his winter tops...
I got myself a mental block when I couldn't decide what to applique on DS' winter shirt. :p I'll try to get it done today - DD has been pestering me for her winter nightie, which is partly done. Feel free to nag me!
I think the first time we tried was when DD was 3 - as a trial run for when we'd be away at the birthing centre 3 months later. That night was not a success. She came back home at about 10:00. :p When DS was born Mum slept over at our...

Quote: If you are still having trouble, you can try zipping up the zipper (with the one side still sewn)  and marking across both sides of the zipper at key points that you need to line up.  For instance, you could...
20/52: Finished DD's long-sleeved knit top. It's nothing fancy - raglan sleeves, gathered wrist-bands, designed to be worn under things. I'm still jazzed about learning to sew knits, though, so I feel triumphant. Might make another one...
