I am 32 wks and watching this pregnancy ZOOM by. I just re-read my journal from my first pregnancy from about 30 weeks on...same story, I was giving DS foot massages through my skin, reading Mother Goose to him, skipping work to nest and clean and take picnics on the beach, meditating every night...:*sigh*. my friend used an analogy with her daughter once that stuck with me: "There are so many different colors of skin in the world, just like there are so many different colors of flowers in the world. Wouldn't it be boring if there were only one color of flowers?"
My husband is skeptical but I am a total believer. He still maintains that DS heard enough conversation to piece it together; I TOTALLY disagree. It was all in the language he used. ABrez, good luck...I asked DS about his birth several times before this unsolicited comment and got nothing. I'm sure my language just wasn't right. I think the key for him was something physical triggering his memory. Wendizbaby: holy moly, I never thought of that. I wonder if...
