As in the actual exit hole.  Yeah I know - yuck! He plays with it about as much as he plays with his penis - which is all well and good...for him! ....   I have heard this little problem mentioned before on here....people ask why he could be doing it - the simple answer is, no he doesn't have worms, yes his bum is wiped well enough (I still do it! lol)...he simply does it because he likes to.    No I can not give him designated bum touching time - where he...
I have worn continuously from birth.  He is nearing 8 months old - I don't know his exactly weight but my guess is that he is over 20lbs! - and is worn for a least 7 hours of a 12 hour 'day'.  He is crawling, cruising and just started to climb the stairs today - so clearly not hindered in any way! lol  He too will let me know when he wants down - more often than not he wants up these days (thats to be expected - when they take steps forward in development, they also in...
No.    Most four and five (and 6+) month olds simply have the developmental urge to do what everyone else is doing.  Humans are social creatures and that is just what we do - socialise (monkey see - monkey do! lol).  Babies are just as much interested in daddy's razor or your glass of wine - just as much as that banana you are eating.  Before 6 months I wouldn't give either personally (obviously to the razor and glass of wine - but also to that banana).  I would even...
This is us as well!!!      Can't say for Ds2 yet though as he is only 7 months old! lol
DS1 got his first tooth at 6 months, his second at 7 months and then they came in bunches - he had 16 at a year of age.  Nothing for a whole year - then the last 4 right after he turned two!    DS2 got his first two at three months - and at 7 months has 7 teeth.
I don't know why I didn't think of it before - but a few inches of warm water in the bath is SO much for my 7 month old (who is crawling/pulling to stand).  I just put him in there and he splashes about crawling back and forth in the bath!  He loves it so much!  A few inches is enough to have fun in (and more than enough to get clean - though he isn't exactly dirty anyhow!) - yet shallow enough for him to be able to move about it.  I filled it up even more when I got in...
Babies are different....  some will cry at any little thing right away.  Some will just 'whine' a bit - where it takes them a lot for them to cry.  I have one of each.  DS1 will cry right away.  DS2 is more of a whinger.  It will take something pretty serious (like the cat biting him!) for him to cry out right away.    However - both are forms of communication and both of my children - no matter how they communicated with me - are worthy of unconditional love and...
Ear infections are a genetic thing - so if you or the daddy is prone to them then maybe I would avoid it.  Otherwise - go with your instincts!  I never did this with DS1 because I know I hate the feeling of water in my ears and he is a highly sensitive boy.  He hate the water he hates the pool.  DS2 on the other hand is not and LOVES the water and the pool and doesn't seem fussed by water in his ears!
THIS! - It is the ONLY one unselfish reason why I wanted to have another baby.  I did not want DS1 to be alone.  They don't have to get on.  They don't have to play together.  They don't have to like or even love eachother for all I care....  But one day, both DH and I will be gone.  We will be dead... and at that moment in life, even if they hate eachothers guts - they will have eachother and need eachother.  I look after the elderly and there are a lot that are only...
You are in a right pickle! hehe - There seems to be aspects of both age gaps you would enjoy!  I can only give you my perspective.  We have a nearly 5 year (4 years and 7 months - some odd days! lol) age gap between my boys.  I do consider myself an attachment parent and this is one of the main reason why we shot for a bigger age gap between our children - AP logistics! lol  Some of my reasons/choices for wanting a bigger age gap may 'offend' other people but I want to...
