I live in Henrico County, which is the county surrounding Richmond City. (To get an idea on a map you could look at Short Pump VA. I have not lived in the area long as I relocated myself just over a year ago. When I posted on here looking for information, some directed me to a site that is for Richmond. http://www.naprichmond.com/ Lots of nice people who are local to what you need info wise.
hummm I guess I am looking for both for himself and for us.   Has has read:   Magic Tree House George Brown Class Clown Beast Quest Geronimo Stilton Capital Mysteries Andrew Lost Horrid Henry The Secrets of Droon Captain Underpants Flat Stanleys He loves to read. And I am coming up short hear lately trying to keep up with him.   We are currently reading The Wizard of Oz as a family, but looking for more books to read as a family: preferable...

My sister is going to be off to college in the fall. She is looking to avoid vaccines. She is however vaccinated from early childhood. She is not a religious person, so Im not sure she could use that. Please help!     I did put this in the finding your tribe area as well.

I am not currently pumping/donating anymore. But I did for about 1 year for a mama who was near me. I did just as you are doing 1 time in the AM and 1 time in the PM, but times I waited about 1 hour after my lo had eaten. Some days I threw a extra session in (afternoon) if possible. I think what your willing to do for your friend is amazing! (I always kept a small supply on hand for my own lo just in case, and would rotate that to her on our next meet up.
I signed up on this site back around the time I made this post. It has been helpful, lots of friendly people on there.
I guess I missed this post. My kids are 5 (almost 6) and 17 months. Are you close to the west end?
Hi. We live in the West End area of Richmond, only been here about 3 months. When we moved here I joined http://www.naprichmond.com . As for a ped we are using Dr Scott Iwashyna @ http://www.westendpediatrics.com/ . He is really laid back and welcoming to attachment parenting. My oldest is partially vaxed (we stopped) and my youngest has had none....he is very okay with it. I'd recommend calling and setting up a interview with him.   Good luck on your upcoming move!
We are moving to Richmond VA in less than 2 weeks. We'll be in the West End area. I was wondering about play-groups that might meet. And if there are a lot of homeschooler's in the area? and can anyone recommend a doctor's office, that is okay with no vaccines?
