So many pieces of the puzzle seem to be falling into place - Fx for you guys :)
Just came across this, sharing it here:   There is plenty of evidence to show that caffeine, particularly in the form of coffee, decreases fertility. Drinking as little as one cup of coffee a day can halve your chances of conceiving. On study showed that problems with sperm: sperm count, motility and abnormalities, increase with the number of cups of coffee consumed each day. Once again, it's important to eliminate all caffeine-containing food and drinks for at least...
Hi everyone, have been stalking this thread since its inception (great first post zenquaker!) and think it's a good time to jump in after my debacle (read AF) today morning, ha! We've been trying for a second child on and off for 2 years now and over time I had gotten totally zen about it - until this past cycle.     That is so insightful. I got to a similar place, happy, (great to see you here!) and started an alternative health therapy this cycle for pms and...
happy2beamama, good thing you went in for that test and have somewhere to start.   Make sure your DH doesn't use a laptop on his lap or keep his cell phone anywhere near his groin area. You know the rest of the other external factors that promote healthy sperm - no tight underwear, no saunas or too-hot showers, etc. - basic principle being to keep the testicles area cool.   Try googling ayurveda and fertility. If you have access to a good ayurvedic store, they...

To respond to the original post, I've been through my share of "the only way out is through" emotional work of ttc#2 and thought I'd share my take on it.   ttc#1 was relatively quick (3-4 months), so like many of you I was shocked when #2 didn't happen right away. Went through the obsessive compulsive research-manic phase. Went through the gut-wrenching roller coaster of hoping hard each month. Now, 18 months later (or thereabouts, don't really count anymore),...
DS stuttered from when he was 2.5 yrs - 4 yrs. Lasted about a year and a half. It used to be pretty bad at times...the kind speech experts say is real stuttering. I read all the reassuring threads on MDC about how this issue is common in early childhood (before the age of 6) and how it usually passes, and also felt deep inside that he would ultimately outgrow it. Did not go to any therapist. He finally did outgrow it...just before his 4th birthday. Now it seems to have...
Came across a beautiful post I thought you ladies would appreciate: http://blog.cjanerun.com/2010/06/rad-all-about-babies.html (be sure to click the hyperlinked sentences in the post...they lead to two other fantastic posts!)   And a lovely reminder: http://dharmacomics.com/2011/11/02/things-take-time/
