Cons: some pics too abstract for babies
This ABC book featuring nature art from American artist Charley Harper is absolutely gorgeous! There are a variety of animals pictured, all drawn by Charley Harper. Most of them are pretty easily recognizable by even the littlest readers, but a few are so abstract that it would be hard for a baby/younger toddler to know what they were. I think besides teaching kids about the alphabet and animals, this book would also be great for introducing the concept of different art styles, as it is defintiely "modern art" and not your typical baby book illustrations!
